I've been developing websites since the late 1990s when I built a website for my photography business. Webhosting didn't exist like it does today. I hosted on my local internet provider, powernet.net, now defunct.

While researching CMS's in the 2000s I came across a blog post extolling the virtues of a newcomer to the scene: concrete5. 

I joined the then small team of users and quickly discovered how wonderful this thing is. For the first time, things made sense. Absolutely everything was intuitive and logical.

While my member number is 376, there are many members who know a lot more than me. But I've been here for a long time and I'm sticking around.
